Growing Chillis, Peppers and Aubergines: Day #38 - Time for potting-on

The young peppers are starting to grow really fast, especially the King of the North, Cayenne and Jalapeno. They're starting to outgrow the first-stage pots and growing space, with 30 plants in a 60x40cm (0.24 sq m) tray.

Root growth on the largest plants is starting to fill the plastic cups I planted in, meaning they are ready to pot-on to larger pots. The largest plants will be transferred into 13cm pots in the next few days although I'll leave the smaller ones for now.

This healthy growth of 30 plants is all happening under 30W of LED light. Before potting-on I need to build another grow-light unit as the larger pots mean it's time to put a second shelf of the grow-tower into action.

There are also another ~20 seedlings in coir-pellets that need potting in soil. You can see them here in the propagator on the top shelf of the grow-tower. It's going to be a busy week!
